At Australian Medals & Frames we provide:

  • If you wish, you can have your medals cleaned and given a protective lacquer coating
  • Ribbon bars (with or without protective plastic coating)

  • Specialist framing for medals and military memorabilia
  • Photo adjustment on the computer for use in the frames incorporating a photo

We understand that the items you choose to have in the frame, mean a lot to you. We aim to honour that by providing a worthy showcase for your heirlooms. Why not frame something special for a mess presentation or retirement gift.

We accept Visa, Bankcard and MasterCard, personal cheques, money orders and cash (of course). Not sure what to get or do? Maybe trying to keep it a secret and it is just too hard? Purchase a gift voucher (valid for 6 months from date of purchase).

Should distance from us be a problem for you - we have a solution. After we have agreed on your requirements, registered post the items to our post office box and the completed job will be couriered or registered post back to you.

Small Frame Miniature Frame.

Usually 20cm x 15cm or 8" x 6". This frame is sized to hold between 1 and 4 miniature medals with a 6cm x 9cm (2.25" x 3.5") photo. Can be adapted to hold more  medals and a further window cut to include the persons details. Not designed to allow access to medals though it can be modified.
Medium Frame.

Usually 26cm x 25 cm (10" x 10"). This size is designed to hold 3 to 10 full sized medals. Medals can be removed for wearing. Replica badge of service provided free of charge or provide an original. This badge is positioned centrally above the medals.

Large Frame Standard Frame.

Measures 34cm x 46cm (13.5" x 18"). The flagship frame. Designed to hold 1 to 20 full size medals. Medals are mounted 'as worn' and can be removed for wearing. This frame has a  photo, a window holding service badges (original or replica), shadow box area holding the medals (fully mounted) and a window detailing the history of the person of interest. Optional metal jacket frame corners.

Custom Frame.

Anything goes. You decide what you'd like and where it should go. Maybe you'd like some help on design - we'll be more than happy to discuss options with you. 

Having trouble obtaining a photo? Perhaps you have group shot or an old photo that needs touching up. We have the facilities to adjust photos, erase people or stains. Maybe we should scan a photo of a naval vessel or aircraft for use instead. Again, we are more than happy to discuss your options.
